Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker è un film pieno di misteri, non solo per i contenuti, ma anche perché non abbiamo certezze sui componenti del cast. Alcuni personaggi potrebbero spuntare così all’improvviso, durante la visione (in tanti si aspettano Anakin Skywalker), mentre sul web si discute ancora sulla presenza di Matt Smith.
Molte voci sul web avevano confermato il suo ingaggio, per poi essere smentite dopo diversi mesi, quando ormai la sua presenza era stata data per certa. In un’intervista, lo stesso attore avrebbe confessato di non avere nulla a che fare con Episodio IX. Dobbiamo credergli? Dobbiamo credere a tutte queste smentite? O ci stanno nascondendo qualcosa?

“Returning and new cast members will join together for the final instalment of the Skywalker saga. Returning cast members include Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong’o, Domhnall Gleeson, Kelly Marie Tran, Joonas Suotamo, and Billie Lourd.
Joining the cast of Episode IX are Naomi Ackie, Richard E. Grant, Keri Russell, Matt Smith, and Dominic Monaghan, who will be joined by veteran Star Wars actors Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, and Billy Dee Williams, who will reprise his role as Lando Calrissian.”
Perché Disney non ha rimosso Matt Smith dalla descrizione ufficiale del film?
