Star Wars Tales from Vader’s Castle è un progetto a fumetti speciale, legato alla serie Star Wars Adventures, pubblicato negli Usa da IDW Publishing.
La casa editrice ha diffuso un’anteprima delle tavole del primo numero di questa miniserie che è stata programmata per essere pubblicata nel periodo di Halloween. Infatti, avrà un tono decisamente “horror”.
Si parte con la storia THE HAUNTING OF THE GHOST, scritta da Cavan Scott, con i disegni di Derek Charm & Chris Fenoglio, le copertine firmate da Francesco Francavilla, Chris Fenoglio e Derek Charm.
In questo progetto verranno coinvolti personaggi da tutta la saga: Hera, Kanan, Chopper (Rebels), Obi-Wan Kenobi ed il Conte Dooku, Han Solo e Chewbacca, gli Ewok e, ovviamente, Darth Vader con il suo castello. Siete pronti a sbarcare su Mustafar?

# 1 (October 3, 2018): THE HAUNTING OF THE GHOST
Issue one features The Haunting of the Ghost, and sees Chris Fenoglio depicting Kanan, Hera and Chopper encountering an unquiet spirit.
# 2 (October 10, 2018): COUNT DOOKU, PRINCE OF DARKNESS
Issue two delves back into the Age of Republic and features the story that set everything rolling – Count Dooku, Prince of Darkness. Obi-Wan Kenobi must face the Sith Lord on a world terrorised by a dark power. Kelley Jones provided the art.
# 3 (October 17, 2018): THE BRAIR WITCH
Issue Three sees young Han Solo and Chewbacca tackling The Briar Witch, with art by Corin Howell.
# 4 (October 24, 2018): THE NIGHT OF THE GORAX
And then we reach a story featuring the most terrifying Star Wars monsters of all – Ewoks! Robert Hack provides the art for Issue 4’s The Night of the Gorax. I’m so excited to see his interpretation of everyone’s favourite murderbears!
# 5 (October 31, 2018): THE TERROR OF DARTH VADER
The Terror of Darth Vader wraps up our little Halloween event in Issue 5, with art by Charles Paul Wilson III.
